The truck gets its vacuum from a pump on the back of the alternator. Anybody ever found a new one or had one rebuilt?

I did some digging once and found new gaskets for rebuilding the pump on ebay. You might talk to someone who rebuilds these old alternators and see what they think about rebuilding the vacuum pump

I really want a new/modified vacuum siphon for my 1986 Car DeVille (GM #22062562 or Cardone #64-1502). Mine's practically dead, and everybody I checked with let me know it's as of now not accessible. Someone who might be listening, If it's not too much trouble, let me know where I can get a substitution! 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1

I plan to convert to electric fan and upgrade my alternator to a 90-98 Isuzu NPR 3.9L diesel, has a vacuum pump on the back that should “just work” by the looks of it. Alternator is rated 70amps and comes with a v-belt drive pulley. The top alternator bracket looks like it will have to be modified to fit it, but it looks fairly straightforward. It’s available for 200 Canadian schmeckles. I’ll update when I get around to doing the change.
