Posting a photo in a post is done in the full posting screen by adding an attachment and inserting it once uploaded. When it is inserted it will show up inline and clicking on the image will open it in full scale. i.e. For most camera photos, you'll need to reduce the file size to meet the under 1 mb criterion. So, if the image file you want to attach is 10 mb, you will need to shrink it to 10% of its original size using an image editing application. But you have to be UNDER 1mb. So trial and error will tell you what value it needs to be shrunk by. It's not that big of a hassle. For now it's just the right amount of hassle. Alternatively, posting a url to a photo hosted elsewhere is done by clicking the 'insert image' icon in the full-editing pane. Insert the address of the image, i.e. photos.app.goo.gl/bsi7BpngBXZ2XK1n6 That image is hosted through my google account at Google Photos, where I copied the URL link when I selected "share" But it's just as easy to cut and paste the URL right in the body of the text. This is also the proper amount of hassle
