Cool rig ! Love the turbo setup. Give it a tiny little. carefully metered whiff of LP gas and watch out power and milage ! I have a Toyota chinook camper that i did a 3 day quick and dirty perkins s2+custom 5speed swap that I drive and I LOVE it. And it loves its diesel with a side order of propane. Carefully calculated out so as not to blow it up. Better get a cloths pin for your nose though. Or run a bunch of biodiesel that makes it smell nice again. What a gem of a motor these are though. Lil smokey with big black lil smokey is a 84, I redone the suspension, ever spring, bushing, nut and bolt when I lowered it, also put 17in d window steelies on it. I also redone the exhaust, 3in from the manifold back to, yes redneck af, stack with a rain cap. Rebuilt the pump, some seals, and advanced the pump 4 degrees, bigger pain then I thought it was going to be, half the battle was finding Ford's tool to adapt the gauge onto. I also replaced the doors, and wired up door speakers. I fixed the leaking radiator, some brazing, a coolant temp sending unit, changed the fuel gauge sending unit. I also changed it over to r-134. Lastly I replaced the clutch last winter when the original went out. I bought it just under 2 years ago, it's a fun little conversation piece at the pump or rolling down the road. I still need to finish rolling the new fenders and painting them, fix a dent in the bed, get the glow plug system working, finding a 5 speed, make a manifold for a gt17, and lastly redo the seat. It's been a fun little project.

Leon Trucksky. '84 B2200, unmodified Perkins. Just got back from driving it from Portland to Miami (such a great traveling companion). Did great until hitting San Antonio on the way back and the injection pump was leaking so much it started idling pretty rough. Tried resealing it myself but bent the driveshaft on the IP while using the timing puller to get it out, so had to get it professionally rebuilt =/ Other than that the only major issue was the driveshaft's support bearing broke while I was driving to work and I had to learn how to pull a drive shaft to get it onto the tow truck! Was a pain to learn how to fix the whole thing myself but this truck is the first vehicle I have ever worked on at all! Despite the occasional headaches, this truck has so much character and it's great getting to know the ins-and-outs of it over the past year. Thinking about putting bigger tires on it (maybe a 205 over a 195) and eventually converting it to wvo and even growing my own biodiesel when I find the space to do it. Attachments:

Bill, good on ya for making the effort. There's photo editors that do it pretty easy. Drop images down by 50% and that't might do it. Or take lower quality pictures.
