The idle sounds about right to me but the only way to really tell is use a tach and test it. If it was mine I think I would leave it where it is for now.

Might adjust it, might not. Probably end up doing so just so the turbo spools up better. Depends on how I feel lol. If I do it wont be adjusted much.

Well I got my radiator back, fired it up last night to play with the fuel screw, found that my injection pump throttle shaft seal has now decided to start leaking fuel, and I was wondering why it seemed to be running weird. It had a nice steady flow coming out of the pump. So she's gonna have more and more problems it seems like

You can get a kit for it and reseal it yourself which I and several others on the forum have done or while it is off you could see if an injector shop can add the boost compensator parts to make it work better with the turbo. It is probably better to replace all the rubber parts in the pump because they are likely in the same shape as the throttle shaft o-ring and a kit is not expensive at all.

A kit would be the best route to go, talked to the local pump shop today and it really didn't sound like it'd be all that expensive for him to go in and rework it for quite a bit more fueling.. Seeing as I've waited this long to have it running, and done quite a bit of work, I'm kinda considering having them go through it. Might end up just buying a seal kit.. Have to think about it though...

Tried the ATF trick, sealed right up and quit leaking

Got the engine in, have a few things to fix up and finish but it's about to head off for an exhaust and turbo piping, later in the month she'll hit the rollers and see what it's putting out will keep posted. Tranny was a real bit€$ to get the input shaft into the pilot bearing, fought it all day. When I had my buddy help me do the turbo drain he forgot to cut the gas pipe that welded to the pan a little shorter so it barely hits the crossmember. Probably gonna cut a small piece of crossmember out so it has room when the engine torque's. Other than that it looks good Downpipe room is a little tight though lol.
