Awesome, thank you im starting out slow she'll be my first diesel so fixing things I'm confident in first like the fuel gauge, then try my hand at the valve cover mod and maybe a smoke stack out of the hood (It's going to be a big maybe) not to confident in the results it would have still reaserching the pros and cons

maybe a smoke stack out of the hood (It's going to be a big maybe) not to confident in the results it would have still reaserching the pros and cons Pro- looks awesome. CON!!!!!!!! - 8 MILLION decibels of diesel noise. You have no turbo, thus the exhaust noise will be excruciating, unless you live in the middle of no where and drive with ear plugs it will be horrible.

How cool is that! Saw your youtube video and the swap in the early rx7. I admire your work sir and thank you for answering several questions if i could snag a five speed out of something other than a b2200, possible turbo in the future for a little more umph when i was researching options before i picked up the truck i saw again the video along with the thread and pics one of the main reasons i pulled the trigger and snagged the truck

Thanks! There are a lot of possibilities with these engines and they take modifications quite well. A turbo is defiantly the way to go though!
