I'm new to this board. I have a Westerbeke 63C in a sailboat. From what I can tell the Westerbeke 63C is a Mazda S2 (Perkins 4.135) Discovered a broken outer valve spring when performing a valve set. I cannot find a source for the two valve springs (Outer and Inner). Does anyone have any of these springs they would be willing to part with or know where I should look? Thanks!

I bet someone could scare one up for you. Where are you located?

Engine Parts <engineparts2@gmail.com>
Ask this guy. He has all OEM parts for these engines. Expensive bastard but you can find it.

All Before I realized there were responses from mazdajack and DieselDangerRanger I had a good spring removed. I took it to an automotive machine shop. He took measurements and called a 'guy' who found a match. Had to buy a set of twelve to get 1 to replace the broken spring.... but very worth it... engine runs quieter (I think) and definitely doesn't smoke as much and I'm back on the water. Regards

Regards Reminds me of a story... a guy needed one connecting rod for his hot rod engine. He asked a friend if he knew somebody that might have one. His friend knew a guy that he thought would sell him one. So, he called the guy and asked him if he had a set of rods and how much. The guy said yes, he had a set of eight for $700. So he asked him how much for one. $700. "What am I going to do with seven connecting rods?" LOL
