I recently purchased a 1982 B2200 diesel. It's had a number of issues. The most recent being an issue with the cooling system. It doesn't overheat, but it runs at about three quarters on the temp gauge when it gets warmed up. I replaced the thermostat and rad cap. I'm still running hot tho. Any help?

May be it's not running hot and the temp sensor is incorrect/faulty. Confirm temps are 200f - ish with a temp gun if you can get one or may be a candy thermometer could work in a pinch.

Thanks for the input. I will give it a shot. The gauge does seem to be a little temperamental. I flushed the radiator again to combat any potential stoppage. Seems to have helped some. Still trying to work out the kinks.
