The heater valve wasn't closing all the way, so I took it apart with the hopes of cleaning it, or switching for one I pulled off a 79 Courier gasser. Well, the original one doesn't look recoverable, and the new one now leaks externally, probably due to the extremely thin-walled body getting mangled upon disassembly.
"If it ain't broke, I'll fix it 'til it is!"
So...anyone have a good B2200 heater valve they can sell me?

I'll poke around once the snow has receeded. But that doesn't appear to be happening any time soon here in Atlantic Canada.

I managed to put the original back together, but now it has developed a very slow external leak and must be replaced. 60 bucks for a new one is excessive, IMO. Anyone...?

Moroza- I've got a heater valve for you and will be back with my truck during the month of June. This might be a good opportunity for you to get a new heater valve along with some of the other odds'n'ends we have discussed.
