New to the forum and look forward to participating. I have an 89' Mazda B2200 pickup that I am looking to swap to a diesel engine. Been doing some research on the various Mazada diesel engines and Perkins. Has anyone done a successful swap on a B2200 and if so which engine did you go with. Looking for info on someone who has already gone through all the hoops on doing the conversion. Thank you,

I'm also interested in finding a diesel to put in my '89 B2200. Anyone know where to find those?

Matt - Where are you located? raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4721874598.html This is essentially a good running diesel, rebuilt 5 spd, and a truck to drive it home. Everything you need to do a conversion should be there.... fuel pump, filter/primer, etc. I don't know for sure, but I would think you adapt the motor and tranny mounts, and drive it away 30 min later. OK, 7 days and 30 min.
